HP Boosts TouchPad Sales With Huge Price Cut

When Hewlett-Packard saw that the TouchPad didn´t sell well, they decided to kill it. To clear out inventory, they cut the price from $499 to $99.

Suddenly they didn´t have any problems getting rid of their TouchPads, describing the demand as “kind of bittersweet.”

The only problem for HP is that they spend around $300 for the production of each TouchPad.
