Cholesterol-Lowering Diet Proves to Work

Two counseling sessions in six months are sufficient for a special cholesterol-lowering nutritional program, a research conducted in Canada has shown.

The researchers tested a new cholesterol-lowering diet, which replaces dairy milk products with soy milk products and hamburgers with soy burgers, and gives nutritional advice for each meal.

The study showed that following the diet results in a double-digit drop in cholesterol and “bad” cholesterol (LDL) levels.
